significance of initial ship date

Hi Guru,

could you please help to enlighten what's the logic for pick release by initial ship date and where we can check the initial ship date from the sales order page?

i was assuming the initial ship date will be the first schedule ship date for a ship order line, even though the line is been updated with another request date the initial ship date will be the same.

but im not able to find this column from the sales order, could you please kindly let me know where i can find it from the sales order?
