while trying to putaway a receipt the destination type is Expense but the item is lot controlled

in Inventory Management

While attempting to put away a receipt, the system throws an error when the destination type is set to Expense for an item that is lot-controlled.

The system does not allow manual entry of a lot number. When attempting to search for available lot numbers, no results are returned
