How to handle no selection in select multiple component in vbcs

Summary:

Hello Team,

We are using select multiple component and passing the values selected as parameters to another api call.
it is working as expected when values are selected but when all values are deselected, valueitemchange action chain is not triggered making the last selected value as parameter instead of null.

Please let us know how to handle deselect all scenario for select multiple component.
