ADF Desktop Integration Add-in: Device Installer Availability for Program Files Installation

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the installation options for the Oracle ADF Desktop Integration Add-in for Excel.

Currently, we are using the user installer, which installs the application in the following location:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Oracle\Oracle ADF Desktop Integration Add-In for Excel

Concern

From a security and governance perspective, it would be preferable for us to install the application under the Program Files directory, rather than within the user profile.

Question

Would it be possible to:

  • Request Oracle Support (or Oracle team) to provide a device (machine-wide) installer for the ADF Desktop Integration Add-in?
  • Or is there an alternative supported approach to install it centrally (e.g., under
