Disciplinary and Grievance

Summary:

I have a report meant to capture both active and inactive records for a specific value in the subject area of personal real time. Because the criteria is set to capture active and inactive, you get historical views for each person. The issue is because the value disciplinary and grievance is tied to the person and not the assignment, the details of the action displays in all rows as duplicates.

We would like to only capture the assignment record that fall within the date of the disciplinary record and not the extra assignments not in relation to the disciplinary record. I tried setting a MAX and also tried to enter a filter by adding effective date to capture the value between the assignment start and end dates and this didn't stop the reporting of all assignments and duplicate details. How can I get this to report only the assignment record where the action was entered?
