Unconstrained: Does fractional pegging occur in unconstrained supply plans?

Summary:

In a constrained plan, pegged quantities can sometimes be fractional, even if the item's Rounding is set to Yes.

For example, if there are two sales orders (SO#1, 1 unit, SO#2, 1 unit) on the same date, and there is 1 unit on hand and 1 unit purchase order, the pegging may be split such that each demand is allocated 0.5 units from on-hand and 0.5 units from the purchase order.

I understand that fractional pegging like the above does not occur in an unconstrained plan, and I have not observed it in my testing either. Is my understanding correct?
