Index Jobs Need to be Ran After Oracle Patches

We currently run the following indexes after each oracle patch. When running these indexes, even in lower environments it takes hours and we need to engage Oracle via SR. Are any other clients running into this issue?

Could we please get confirmations that these indexes are needed because it is taking so much time running them:

Refresh Manager Hierarchy

Update Person Search Keywords

Synchronize Person Records

Optimize Person Search Keywords Index
