Summary:

We have received the notification regarding “Oracle Monthly Critical Security Patch Updates (CSPU) Starting May 28, 2026”.

Oracle has stated that a Critical Security Patch Update (CSPU) will be released each month, in addition to the quarterly CPU cycle.

We would like to seek clarification from the community on the following points:

  • Is there any information on whether CSPU updates will be first applied to lower environments (DEV/TEST) before Production in Oracle SaaS (Fusion), or will they be deployed directly to Production?
  • Does Oracle provide any official guidance on impacted functional areas after CSPU updates, particularly for customer validation activities (e.g., OTBI reports, integrations, security roles/access, workflows)?
