We are seeking clarification on the functional difference between nonconsolidated and inactive entity status under the enhanced organization feature in Oracle FCCS. According to the admin guide, when this feature is enabled, entities with zero percent ownership should be marked inactive, whereas entities with ownership above zero percent are marked nonconsolidated. However, in our testing we have identified two comparable scenarios where these two status types produce identical consolidation results. In our production environment, entity 1837, FS Innovation LLC, transitioned from entity 1854 to entity 1210 in October 2023 and was classified as nonconsolidated.
