Evaluate Absences appears to cause absences to sit with a Processing Status of "View Error"

We have a schedule for Evaluate Absences which evaluates all absences looking back six months. This runs at 10pm each evening to avoid a clash with any other scheduled processes. We discovered a scenario last month where an assignment with a recorded absence in March changes to an errored Processing Status. We are able to clear the error by running a subsequent Evaluate Absences process for this employee, however, when the scheduled Evaluate Absences process runs again at 10pm, it puts the absences back into an errored status.
