Preventing Multiple Spouse Relationships in Redwood

Hello Team,

We have a requirement on the Family and Emergency Contacts page and the People to Cover page where an employee should not be able to add multiple entries with the "Spouse" relationship type. How can we achieve this functionality in a Redwood page? I understand that the autocomplete rule does not work in Redwood, so what is the recommended approach to prevent multiple spouse relationships from being created?
