Create a custom page in Redwood with instructional text and Report Links

We have a requirement to create a custom page in Redwood for Managers which should have one instructional text and then report links.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information): I understand that creating a custom Redwood page will require us to use the Advanced mode in VBS, but it is mentioned in documentation that Advanced Mode is not supported in HCM. So I wanted to understand whether we should go with this approach or not?
