Can Invoice Approval skip an intermediate manager using supervisory hierarchy only?

We need clarification on whether the below requirement is supported in Oracle Fusion Invoice Approval.

The client is not using Job Levels. Approval routing is based only on the Manager Supervisory Hierarchy.

Supervisory Hierarchy:
Cost Center Manager → Manager 1 → Manager 2

Required approval flow:

• 5k to 100k: Approver 1 = Cost Center Manager → Approver 2 = Manager 1
• 100k to 250k: Approver 1 = Cost Center Manager → skip Manager 1 → Approver 2 = Manager 2

The requirement is to use only the relevant last supervisor for the higher amount range, without using Job Levels.

1. Is this possible using standard supervisory hierarchy-based invoice approval rules?
2. Can Oracle Fusion skip an intermediate manager in the hierarchy and route directly to the next-level manager?
