Common Lookup lookup code does not display

Summary:

I added three lookup codes to a common lookup that displays in the Name of education institution field in my Individual Compensation plan. When the user clicks the drop down to see the code, the codes do not display. When the user begins to type the code, the code displays.

What is causing this behavior and how do I correct it?
