Approval rule based on day of the week

in Human Capital Management

Hi all, is it possible to build an approval rule based on the day of the week of a particular date field?

E.g. "Effective Start Date == Sunday"

I'm specifically trying to do this under the RequestPositionChangeApproval rule in the BPM Worklist.
