Internal Candidate Blocked from OM Application Due to Talent Profile Date Validation

We recently observed the following behavior in our enviornment:

  • An internal team member attempted to apply for a job via Opportunity Marketplace (Redwood experience)
  • The application could not be submitted
  • Recruiter reviewing the prospect surfaced the following error: "Enter a date that's on or before (END_DATE)"
  • In the candidate experience, the user didn't receive a clear error message. Instead, the Submit button was disabled (greyed out), preventing them from completing the application. The underlying validation message was only visible form the recruiter/prospect view.
