Are there any impact for the cubes which are in use. Considering to data, space and performance

Summary:

We already have 7 cubes ( 4 BSO + 3 ASO), we are able to create new BSO cube. However, is it recommended considering data, space and performance. Please note out of existing 7, we are currently not using 4 cubes( 2 BSO + 2 ASO).
