ARCS TM - Update to match type reflecting in Data Integration applications

We have a match type configured with two data sources. When attributes were added to one of the data sources, it was observed that the associated target applications for both data sources were updated.

As per the documentation, updates made at the match type level are expected to be reflected across all associated target applications.

However, is it possible to restrict this behavior such that when attributes are added to one data source, only the corresponding target application for that specific data source is updated, and not the other?

Currently, the target application of the second data source is also getting updated with the new attributes, even though those attributes are not required there and are not visible on the match type card.
