Batch Process - Schedulation of ESS Job to create inital ingest

Hello experts,

are there guidedlines related to the frequency of batch process to perform initial ingest with the ESS Job batch process?

For example we noticed that for updating Jobs we need to launch the batch process with the parameter of fa-hcm-job. Is it needed to launch the batch only when a change has been made (so on spot) or it is recommended to schedule it?
