Gig Recommendations based on Interests Changes

in Recruiting, Opportunity Marketplace

User has interest set to US BU and Remote Workplace and is recommended a Gig that matches both BU and Workplace type.

When updating BU unit in the Interests they are no longer recommended the Gig.

When updating the Workplace Type in interest it has no impact - Gig is still recommended.

Could someone confirm what is considered and drives recommendation for Gigs (between the user and the gig - not popularity etc.)?
