Can we modify the names of payroll tasks displayed in the Person Results page?

We have a requirement to change the names of certain tasks that appear in the Person Results page. I attempted to use Sandbox (User Interface Text) to modify the labels, but it did not work.

Could you please advise on the correct approach? I suspect that the labels might be controlled through a Lookup, but I have searched and haven’t been able to find any relevant entries.

For example, one of the requirements is to update the task name “Transfer to Subledger Accounting” by adding an “(s)” at the end.

The client is quite particular about these changes, so any guidance on how to achieve this would be highly appreciated.
