How to Assign by File Upload Expected File Format and Process for Bulk Learning Assignment

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on an Oracle HCM Learning implementation and came across the "Assign by File Upload" or assignment through csv field in Learning Assignments option.

I'd like to understand how this feature works end-to-end:

  1. What is the exact file format expected? (CSV, XLS, or both?)
  2. What columns/headers are required in the file? Is it just Person Numbers, or are additional fields needed?
  3. For CSV specifically should person numbers be comma-separated in one row, or one per row?
  4. How does the system handle leading zeros in person numbers do we need to pre-format the column as text?
