BPM Worklist - User Details showing Reportees who are no longer active

Summary:

I have been asked to investigate why our Line Managers can view leavers (Reportees) in their BPM Worklist > User Details .
Is this by design and for what purpose?

Is there something to remove the Reportees?. I could not find an enhancement request

I have tried terminating the assignments and running the usual scheduled processes to remove Fusion security roles:

• Send Pending LDAP requests
• Retrieve Latest LDAP details
• Import User and Role Application Data
• Once terminated, then confirmed there are no Line Manager details in assignment record.
• Confirmed there are no outstanding workflow tasks with the Line Manager in the Workflow Tasks.
