Variance in Equity Accounts when New Top Entity is added

We have Ownership Management and Enhanced Organization by Period (EOBP) both enabled in our FCCS application. There is a requirement to have a new holding entity (NewHLD) and a new consolidated Parent (NewTopParent) on top of current entity structure (CurrentTOPParent). The Current Top Parent and New Holding entity will be siblings and will roll up into NewTopParent. The new structure would go live later this year

For the periods, Prior to Go-Live, this is how we have set up the Ownership % and Consolidation method

Total Geography
|_ NewTopParent (Method: Subsidiary; Consolidation%, 100%) OR (Method: Inactive; Consolidation%, 0% (Consolidation Fails If Method: Inactive))
  |_ NewHLD (Method: Inactive; Consolidation%, 0%)
