Can the Oracle seeded list of skills be deacvtivated? Is it recommended?

We are implementing Dynamic Skills for the first time and would love your expertise on industry best practices regarding skills catalog management.

The Oracle seeded list is humongous, containing thousands of values. Our organization already has its own curated list of skills. Some overlap with Oracle’s seeded values, while others are entirely unique to us. We are trying to determine the best governance strategy and have a few specific questions:

  1. Deactivating vs. Maintaining Dual Lists: Is it a good idea to maintain both lists, or will it become too cumbersome for long-term support? Alternatively, is it possible, and advisable to completely deactivate or hide the Oracle seeded list so users only see our curated list?
