SCO Business Rules overriding "Contract Manufacturing" attribute and failing Work Order creation

Hi all,
We are implementing a Buy/Sell Contract Manufacturing (CM) scenario and facing an issue where the Work Order (WO) is not being generated in the virtual organization.

[Setup]

  • Inventory Org: Virtual Org is enabled as "Contract Manufacturer".
  • Item Attribute: Finished Good is set to Contract Manufacturing = Yes and Build in WIP = Yes in the Virtual Org.
  • SCO Business Rules:
    1. Execution Rule: If Supply Type is Transfer, then change to Buy (intended for Intercompany Sale).
    2. Enrichment Rule: If Supply Type is Buy, set Ship Through Order Management = Yes.
    3. Enrichment Rule: If Supply Type is Make, set Work Order Status = Released
