Is it possible to remove the default Direct Report filter in My Team > Add Absence page?

I have looked in the Basic side of Visual Builder and I can see how to reorder or remove the Direct filter all together but I wish to have it available for managers to apply themselves rather than that filter to default to Direct reports and I can not see how to do this. Does anyone know if it is possible and if so have steps on how to do it? Thank you
