Anyone partnering w/HireRight for I-9 forms--how do you ensure I-9s are completed before new hire is

Our company is going to be implementing electronic I-9 forms via HireRight passport in Taleo. We are still using a manual process to get our new hires entered into ADP, our HRIS. We are trying to come up with an audit that shows that all new hires in ADP have a completed I-9. Without having to add paper to the process (like printing the I-9 to show that it is complete), I wanted to see if anyone has had similar issues, keeping the following in mind:
- We do not have new hire export/integration or Taleo Onboarding
- We are on Taleo 7.5 SP14M, and are aware that it is not possible to pull the Screening tab's I-9 "Results" fields into our Merge Forms (our ideal option)
