Learning assignment fails"We couldn't submit assignment for processing. Please try again later."

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to My Client Groups → Learning → open any Active course
  2. Click Assign
  3. Fill Assignment details — Assignment Type, Start Date, Learning Item, Offering
  4. Set Assignee Selection Type = Person → select any worker
  5. Click Assign button
  6. Error appears immediately: "We couldn't submit assignment for processing"

Impact:

  • Affects ALL courses without exception
  • Both Person and Directs selection types fail
  • No failed ESS jobs visible in Scheduled Processes

Business Impact:CRITICAL UAT is in progress today with the customer present. Manual learning assignment is completely non-functional.

Troubleshooting Already Done:

  1. Verified all courses and offerings are Active
  2. Verified learner records are Active employees
