How to extend the new edit panel drawer page for document records?

Summary: In 26a, document records edit page is a panel drawer interface. I have added 3 DFFs on the DoR. DFF1 * DFF2 = DFF3

This DFF3 calculation works fine in ADD mode of DoR but not in the edit mode which is now a new panel drawer. see link below

I can see the following pages for extension in VB but not the new panel drawer.

How can I make the calculated DFF3 to work in edit mode?
