ABC Class item Attribute in Supply Planning

We are leveraging segmentation feature in Supply Planning in which we intend to use 'ABC Class' item attribute as segment criteria. We ran Item Collections before executing segmentation. But none of the item has ABC class information defaulted against 'ABC Class' attribute. As a result, no items are assigned to my segments(after segmentation execution).

I would like to know whether 'ABC Class' attribute is supported in Supply Planning? because in oracle guides, Only in Replenishment planning guide its mentioned as supported attribute. Any inputs on this is appreciated.
