Can multi-tenant/account session capture attendance?

Summary:

If multiple accounts/tenants are established for Zoom or MTeams, can a learning session include participants across different accounts? (of course from the same provider). Meaning, if we have two MTeams accounts (one for Europe and one for Asia) and we have a global session, can we invite participants from across different tenants and will their attendance be captured?  Assuming it might depend on whether in the initial Sync process the session is established in all or only in one of the accounts. Does it depend on where the instructor comes from?
