Periodic Average Costing Product Completion Transaction Error Due to Work Order Close in Next Period

The Product Completion transaction for May period is failing in cost accounting with the following error:

"The transaction wasn't processed because the cost calculation for accumulated work-in-process requires all the input and resource transactions to be processed."

Upon investigation, we believe the root cause is that the Work Order Close transaction, which occurred in June, has not yet been processed in costing — and the costing engine appears to require the Close event before it can finalize the WIP cost accumulation and process the Completion transaction.

This has created a period lock deadlock:
