How to scan various expiry dates format in Oracle cloud WMS.

Summary:

We have a business requirement to capture expiry date in Oracle Cloud WMS standard format, while the manufacturer provides expiry date in Julian format.

We would like to understand the recommended approach to support the entry of Julian expiry dates during RF receiving.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

  • Supplier is shipping items in boxes which will have expiry date in Julian format.
  • During RF receiving (Redwood Mobile UI), users need to manually enter the expiry date by looking at the box. (No barcode)
  • User will enter the Expiry date in Julian date format (Ex. 26135 – Year 2026, 135th
