Unable to get approval for project in volunteering module Oracle hcm

in HCM Communicate

Admin 1 created a project after which the approval should go to admin 2 but admin 2 is unable to get any notifications or approval for the project and for admin 1 the transaction shows to be stuck. Please help with the navigation/configuration to resolve the same. Attached are screenshots for reference.
