Unable to run Alerts in Alerts Composer - Run option NOT available

Summary:

In Alert Composer for any Alert, Run option under Action LOV is NOT available.

The logged in user has the required privileges to access and run the alerts - Access Alerts Composer, Process a Predefined Alert - both these privileges are assigned to the user roles of the logged in user.

I am looking to run an alert manually (adhoc run) for Testing purposes but unable to find the run option.

How do we run the alert in this case? anyone can give any suggestions or ideas?

NOTE: Same is observed with Curtis.feitty ID in our Demo instance as well.
