Validation rule for gender value

Summary:

Hi,

We need to create a validation rule for gender value in all flows where gender field is present. Having attempted to do the required configs in VB though, from the actions that we tested (Add pending worker, personal details and convert pending worker) it's only working when converting a pending worker and only after selecting the Edit button.

Can you confirm that this is expected? And is there a way to achieve the requirement?
