BI Catalog Folder Management

I am looking for best practices on managing Custom Folder in BI Catalog:

  1. We have 2 folders for custom reports: Custom Folder and CompanyName Business User Reports (mostly HR reports). I was reading that Oracle recommends to keep all custom reports in Custom folder so they don't get affected after by patches and upgrades, specifically, so they dont get overwritten if Oracle ships a folder with the same name in a patch or upgrade. Is this the only potential treat for keeping "CompanyName Business User Reports" folder? Because its unlikely for Oracle to ship a folder with our company's name.
