Restrict Employees from Selecting Work Email Type in Contact Info (RUI) Based on Roles

Hello Experts, I have a requirement to prevent employees from selecting the Work Email type on the Contact Info page in RUI. The restriction should apply only to employee self‑service roles, while HR roles should still be able to add Work Email.

In the Contact Info page (RUI), employees are able to add work email types. Our requirement is:

  • Employees (ESS roles) → should NOT be able to select Work Email
  • HR roles → should continue to add/update Work Email type normally

I attempted the following:

As this is still in the RUI so VBS validation rule is not working here. And when I enabled the Redwood page, and trying to do the VBS Validation then it is working fine, but we are still not moved with all the Redwood pages in the PROD, so till we not moved to the Redwood we need something that we can use for RUI.
