Clarification on "Preserve Journal User Names" Configuration Task in FCCS

Summary:

I'm trying to better understand the purpose and practical impact of the Preserve Journal User Names configuration task in Oracle FCCS.

Oracle documentation states that this task preserves the user names associated with consolidation journal workflow (Created By, Submitted By, Approved By, Posted By) even if a user changes roles or is no longer with the company.

However, during my testing, I observed different behavior:

  1. The Preserve Journal User name job was not triggered.
  2. I created a consolidation journal using a test user.
  3. I removed the test user from the FCCS application.
  4. I generated a Journal Report and selected
