Admin was unable to Approve/Reject BPM task via REST

Apart from the Admin Initiated BPM task, Is there a way Admin can take action on BPM Task that is not initiated by admin's self.

Hello Experts,

We were trying to update a bpm task Approve/Reject which is not initiated by the admin using REST Api. And is there a feasibility that admin can take action on any task without reassigning the task.
The Task created by admin, was able to take action update the bpm task using REST api

The Task created by other application user, when updated using REST api It was throwing an error not enough priviages
