Correct Termination and Reverse Termination

Summary:

Hi Expert,

Good day!

I have a scenario and would like to understand which is the correct approach.

An employee has resigned with a notice period of 3 months and the termination approval has already been completed.
After an internal discussion, HR wants to change the termination date.

Which option should we use?

Reverse the termination and then terminate the employee again through HR Self Service.
Use “Correct” on the work relationship and change the termination date directly.
Next scenario:

HR terminates an employee with a 3‑month notice period, but later decides to terminate the employee with a different past date instead of using the 3‑month notice.

Howdy, Stranger!
