Redwood Work Relationship vs Employment Start Dates

We could see that, whatever operation we can perform in Employment Start Dates page (like changing the start date of an employee) can be done via Work Relation page as well. However, in order to correct the Seniority Dates we would need to do it via Work Relationship page, as it can't be done via Employment Start Dates (coz the Seniority Dates section is just read-only over there).

So, please confirm whether Employment Start Dates page can be made obsolete and make use of Work Relationship page itself for all such use cases (unless there is any specific scenario which need to be performed only via Employment Start Dates page, and not via Work Relationship page)?
