Is groovy script being replaced by Workflow Automation?

Summary:

I had a very quick question around groovy script and HR Help Desk, we’ve previously used this to automate notifications and update statuses etc, but I know Workflow Automation is a new simpler tool that I’ve started to use to build these types of automation into HRHD. My question is, will Groovy Script finally be replaced by this feature or is it here to stay in Help Desk (for the foreseeable future at least!)

We have a client request around Flexible Working Requests and the system doing an automatic check on whether a request (SR with a specific category) has been raised by the same Primary Contact in the last 12 months; if the count is true then it will automatically update the status to ‘Request Rejected- Eligibility’ or if the count is false then the status is ‘Request Accepted- Proceed to Case Management’. I’m just working through some basic ideas on how we do this

Howdy, Stranger!
