Sync new organization of Project Team Member

Summary: We have updated the organization of a project team member on HCM side and we noticed that the new organization didn't automatically seeded to the project team member section. we found a workaround which is to end date the current record and assign the same employee just to reflect the new org. Given the volume of updates that we will do, are there other ways to do this aside from API/WSDL?
