PROP_UPDATE Not working for Derived Properties

Hello Oracle / EDM Users,

I'm running into an issue with a mass property update in EDM and am wondering if anyone has encountered this before.

I'm uploading an Excel request using PROP_UPDATE to update the Effective Date property for approximately 1,100 base members. The load completes successfully, but only updates members where the property value is currently Defined. Members where the property value is Derived are not updated.

To isolate the issue, I performed the following test:

  1. Updated a Derived Effective Date value manually in the EDM UI.
  2. Downloaded the resulting request to Excel.
  3. Deleted the request.
  4. Created a new request and uploaded the exact same Excel file that EDM generated.
