401 Unauthorized error when using Fusion Data extraction REST API

Summary:
Issue occurs when invoking the following Data Extraction API endpoints:

Create a Schedule Using Oracle Managed Storage
https://<pod>/api/saas-batch/jobscheduler/v1/jobRequests

Check Job Status Using Oracle Managed Storage
https://<pod>/api/saas-batch/jobscheduler/v1/jobRequests/94586

An OAuth Confidential Application was configured as per documentation:

Authenticating and Working with Oracle Fusion Applications V1( Business Objects based ) REST APIs | ateam

OAuth seems to be working as I am able to get the access token successfully. However, when the generated access token is used to call the Data Extraction REST API endpoints, the requests fail with a 401 Unauthorized response.
