Redwood Mobile Inventory – Auto Increment Quantity to 1 for Each Barcode Scan

Hi Experts,

We are using Oracle Fusion SCM 26B – Redwood Mobile Inventory and performing Miscellaneous Receipt transactions for a lot-controlled item.

We scan a GS1-128 barcode with the following format:

]C101008153810205051728061510LT1008

The barcode contains the item GTIN, expiration date, and lot number. After each scan, the application prompts us to add a new line and manually enter/process the transaction.

Our business requirement is similar to a supermarket scanning process, where:

• Each barcode scan automatically defaults the quantity to 1.
• Repeated scans of the same barcode automatically increment the quantity (1, 2, 3, etc.) or create transaction lines with Qty = 1 without additional user intervention.
