Supplier Management / Suppliers (New) in Redwood does not work in Read Only mode

Summary:

Hello we have users who had view only access to Suppliers in Classic. Via Profile FND_READ_ONLY_MODE at the user level.

We have enabled Suppliers in Redwood, but the screen gives an error as soon as the link under Supplier Name is clicked on.

"Internal users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this new privilege can edit supplier organization details.

  • Maintain Supplier Organization Details (POZ_MAINTAIN_SUPPLIER_ORG_DETAILS_PRIV)"

Possibly the word "edit" is causing the issue?

Anyone else face this issue and resolved it?

For Oracle Development/Support team - can you please address this as many users in Production access Suppliers (Classic) in Read Only mode and they want to be able to do this in Redwood too, hampering Redwood adoptability? This should be a fix and not an idea!
