Can you increase the number of decimal places in the unit cost field in Cost Accounting?

Our client has certain items where the unit cost is so small it exceeds the Oracle maximum of 5 decimal places. Is there any way to increase the number of decimals so that they can define unit standard cost with 5+ decimals?

For example, we want to define standard cost of Item X so that the Material cost element is 0.000001 (6 decimals). Is there any way to allow this, or will they simply have to define the cost as 0.00001 (5 decimals)?
